In 1880, General Ricchieri built what is now Estancia El Ombú de Areco, preserving the elegance of its original architecture. The rooms, restored with a contemporary design, maintain their period floors, ceilings, and woodwork, offering a unique experience that blends history and comfort in perfect harmony.
More than a century later, in 1993, Eva Boelcke opened the gates to both national and international tourism, welcoming each guest with the warmth that always defined her. Since then, El Ombú has become a place where tradition, nature, and hospitality come together to create unforgettable experiences.
